No thanks, I don't need this

Free · 60 minutes · You stay · Daily 10:30am

We don't do demos. Your child joins a real Mini Ivy session.

Free, 60 minutes, no commitment. Your child joins our real daily session — same teacher, same room, same other kids — so you both see exactly what a normal Mini Ivy day looks like before you decide anything.

In a Discovery Session, your child will:
Take part in a guided, structured art session start-to-finish
Choose colours, materials, and approach for their own piece
Use brushes, scissors, and tools across a full 60-minute session
Take home a finished artwork they made themselves
Your child's first session

"This is what changed for our family."

🔇 Tap for sound

Structured creativity. Intentional development.

Every Mini Ivy session is structured, intentional, and built around the four foundations of early childhood development - not a fun arts-and-crafts class, but a deliberate extracurricular program.

🎨

Guided Art Experiences

Each session follows a structured process - not free play. Children are guided through techniques that build focus, persistence, and fine motor skills.

🧠

Emotional Regulation

Through the creative process, children learn to manage frustration, tolerate imperfection, and develop the resilience that structured environments demand.

👥

Same Teacher Every Week

Children settle when faces stay the same. Same instructor, same room, same routine — week after week. It's why kids who can't sit at other classes find their rhythm here.

📐

Predictable Routines

Same structure, same expectations, every session. Children thrive on routine - and this predictability helps them feel grounded, focused, and ready for any structured environment they encounter.

What changes when a child finds their creative confidence

These aren't promises - they're what Adelaide parents have told us.

Before Mini Ivy
Hesitant in new environments. Sticks close, watches from the sidelines.
Gives up the moment something feels too hard.
Avoids activities where they might "get it wrong."
Finds it hard to sit, focus, or follow a task through.
Quiet around other kids. Unsure how to join in or connect.
After Mini Ivy
Walks in confidently. Greets educators by name.
Understands that mistakes are part of learning - and keeps going.
Tries new techniques, experiments, and takes creative risks.
Can stay focused for 60+ minutes on a structured task.
Builds friendships. Becomes a natural part of the group.

"He used to hide behind me in every new room. After six weeks at Mini Ivy, he walked into his first day of school and didn't look back. I genuinely cried in the car."

"My son had really bad separation anxiety. After a few sessions at Mini Ivy, he was the first to greet his educator and dive straight into the activity, knowing I was right there in the waiting area. It's the first time I'd seen him settle anywhere. I couldn't believe the change."

"She used to be terrified of making mistakes - would shut down completely if her drawing wasn't 'perfect.' Now she tells me 'mistakes mean my brain is growing.' That phrase came directly from Mini Ivy. I use it myself now."

"My daughter calls it 'art school' - she brings it up constantly. She went from being really shy and finding it hard to connect with other kids, to having friends she talks about by name. The structure here is unlike anything else in Adelaide."

Everything parents ask before their first session

My child has never done a structured program before. Is that okay? +
Completely. Many of the children who benefit most from Mini Ivy are coming in without any prior structured experience. Our educators are trained to meet children exactly where they are. The discovery session is deliberately designed to be a low-pressure introduction.
What age is Mini Ivy for? +
Our program is designed specifically for children aged 3–6 — the years when the brain forms more new connections than at any other point in life. If you're unsure whether your child is the right fit, just reach out and we'll help you figure it out.
Where do parents wait during the session? +
Parents stay at the studio in our comfortable waiting area for the full session - it's not a drop-off class, but it's also not a parent-and-child class. Our educators guide the children inside the studio so every child has the focused space to engage, while you're right there nearby for the whole hour.
What if my child is shy or hesitant to join in? +
Many children arrive hesitant and leave with a sense of real pride in what they created. Our educators are experienced in working with anxious or shy children, and the predictable structure of each session gives them the safety of knowing exactly what comes next. We've never had a child leave without having participated.
Is this the same as a daycare or playgroup? +
No. Mini Ivy is a structured creative development program - not a care or education service. It's designed to complement your child's existing routine, not replace it. Think of it as intentional developmental enrichment: structured, skill-based, and focused on outcomes.
Is there any commitment after the discovery session? +
None at all. The discovery session is exactly that - free, with no obligation and no pressure. If you'd like to continue, we'll talk you through the options. If not, your child still walks away with a finished artwork and you'll have a much clearer sense of what a structured creative program can do.
And one more thing

Some kids cry. That's normal.

If your child cries through their entire 60-minute Discovery Session, here's what I'll personally do — not because we got it wrong, but because I want them to feel comfortable next time:

  1. Book you a second Discovery Session — completely free
  2. Give you one full week of our weekly tier on the house
  3. Schedule a free private 1-on-1 settling session with me before your child comes back

No questions. No card needed. No catch. I'm that confident they'll come around.
